Life as a whole is a combination of victories and struggles. But sometimes life can be a pain in the ass, what if one day it decides to bombard you with a series of different problems like losing a job, financial difficulties, getting sick, and having broken relationships. No doubt that experiencing all of these things will lead you to your lowest point. A period of anxieties, worries, regrets, and self-doubts. A time when you will ask yourself if you can surpass all of this. But no matter how big your problems are, you have to rise back up and keep moving forward. For life is meant to be surpassed. Here are some things that you can do to bounce back up:

FEEL THE EMOTIONS

The very first step in rising back up is to acknowledge the pain.  Feel the frustration, feel the pain, feel the brokenness. We’re humans, we’re vulnerable. No matter how strong you are, you will feel those emotions. Having the baggage of those pain will be hard for you to think clearly and to take necessary actions for you to bounce back. Feel them first and clear your mind.

Be hurt, ask for help, and cry it all out.

REFLECT AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

Now that you’ve released those emotions. It’s time to reflect and ask, what has gone wrong? If the cause of the problem is by your own doing, maybe it’s time to do some changes in yourself. On the other hand, if the problem is out of your control, accept that it had already happened and it resulted negatively and what you can do next is to improve yourself, so that as you move forward, you can prevent these things from happening again, or if the next time you encounter the problem again, you already know how you should react and what should you do.

When prevention is not enough, ADAPT.

SURROUND YOURSELF WITH POSITIVITY

When you are at your lowest, you tend to perceive everything negatively. And if you keep looking at the world like this, it is very hard to move forward. So one thing to do is to surround yourself with positivity. Yes, it will be hard to be positive but focus on how you can make yourself happy and inspired one step at a time. You can do this by watching motivational videos on Youtube, or spend time with family and friends, or pray and read the bible.

A positive environment will neutralize your negative perspective.

TAKE ACTION

You’ll never get out from the bottom if you will not take action. Now that you’ve felt the pain, knew the cause of the pain, and you’ve already come up with the solutions, it’s time to take action. The key to rising back is your self. Not the government, not your neighbor, not your partner. But, YOU. Because at the end of the day, it is your life, you create your past, present, and future. Yes, it is scary when there is a possibility that you will be in pain again. It will be hard to make decisions and to take actions but it is more frightening being stuck at the bottom being chained by fear.

Always remember, if there is a possibility of pain, there is also a possibility of being happy again.

BE PATIENT

The journey rising back up will not be easy. It takes time and effort to put your self back. Every solution you’ve come up to or every change you’ve made in yourself will not materialize or show positive results instantly. Or sometimes you may encounter another problem and hinder you from getting back. But no matter how hard it may be, just be patient. Every struggles and pain you’ve encountered have already made you a better person. You’ve grown. You’ve matured. You have now a weapon to fight through life, a BETTER YOU.

Just keep moving forward.

Remember, as long as you are alive, it is not the end. You may fall down many times, but you should never give up. Life has a lot in store for you. God has better plans for you. You can still rise up and live life to the fullest. ?
