One way to spend the long weekend is to eat… a lot! Since we didn’t have any travel plans, we decided to try another food park around the Metro. Last time, we tried The Food Hive on Visayas Avenue. This time, also from Visayas Avenue, is the new and exciting food destination called Grub Hub.
GRUB HUB
Like all food parks, Grub Hub offers different cuisines– from Japanese, American, Italian, and Filipino. What makes it more exciting is its unique and colorful ambiance. It does not just boast of its good food but also of its artworks. The park has different areas wherein it will make not just your tummy full but also your eyes.
The park is a mix of everything nice and artsy — Colorful Murals, furnishings made of recyclable materials, hanging plants & lanterns, and the familiar Hobbit-hole design for the stalls. Everywhere you look and stay you’ll appreciate every bit of Grub Hub. In addition, it has also an indoor dining area for those who don’t want an al fresco style.
GRABS AT THE HUB
As for our food quest, we decided to have a main dish, pica-pica food (finger food), and of course drinks. For our main dish, we tried the Porchetta Bowl (100 Pesos) from Porchetta MNL. It has rice, tomatoes, cuts of porchetta, and salsa verde (which has a taste of Pesto). Mix them well and you’ll have a taste of Italian. The other one is the Sizzling Pork Chop (139 Pesos) from Mrs. Lumpia.
For our pica food, we chose the famous isaw of Mang Larry’s and the Dynamite sticks from Dynamite Duo. Almost, all the choices from Mang Larry’s are only worth 10 Pesos each. We took more than 15 sticks just to satisfy our cravings! The dynamites are for real, especially the ones with cheese called Dinamita. This is probably the best dynamites I’ve tasted so far. Lastly, for the drinks, we chose the Cranberry and the Guyabano Juice from the F.I.S.H. Bar which are worth 65 Pesos each. Fresh and a good partner for all the food we’ve ordered.
Trying Grub Hub made us look forward to the new Food Paks that will arise. We’re excited to discover the differences and creativity not just in food but in their concepts.
Comment below if you’ve tried Grub Hub and share your thoughts on your experience. Until our next Food Park! Cheers!
