AGINANA VILLAS

Aginana Villas has a tropical villa vibes designed to cater to travelers who wants to experience rest

Aginana Villas is a beautiful resort located in San Juan, La Union, the surfing capital of the Northern Philippines. The resort is named from the Ilocano word, Aginana, which means to rest. Just the beauty and calmness of the resort will surely make you feel relaxed and at peace. Despite being 300 meters from the nearest beach, it offers a swimming pool surrounded by plants and trees which still offers you the natural and provincial vibes of the town.

Aginana Villas and its patios and swimming pool

I only knew Aginana Villas when we had our breakfast at their restaurant called Manna Kitchen. Upon entering the compound, we were welcomed by the beautiful garden of the resort. As we were climbing to the indoor dining area of the restaurant, we saw these white-walled villas with roofings made from cogon grass. Each villa has multiple wide windows that when the curtains are opened will let natural light in with ease.

Each villa has a master’s bedroom and a living room on the ground floor and one big bedroom with 2 queen beds with a balcony on the second floor. For the toilet and bath, you don’t have to worry, because both have one on each floor. In addition, both villas have an outdoor patio where guests can stay and appreciate the view of the garden and pool.

MANNA KITCHEN

The Manna Kitchen serves the food for the resort which offers a variety of great food and well-curated coffee. Their signature dishes like the GGSS Crab Rolls and their coffee blend called Shakerato are a must-try and you’ll surely want more of them. From the restaurant, you can see the whole beauty of the resort. The morning sun lit the pool and made a very amazing view for us.

The combo of Aginana Villas and Manna Kitchen with a relaxing ambiance, comfortable stay, and great food will surely make the guests at peace and recharged. By the way, the resort and restaurant are owned by Filipina actress Betina Carlos-Eduardo and her husband Mikki Eduardo.
